Meet Dr Taehee Lee, BDS, Dentist
Dr Taehee Lee has built his entire career around two things he genuinely loves: dental implants and the technology that makes them better. With a focus on surgical precision and digital innovation, he brings extensive experience in implant dentistry to Access Dental Services.
Education & Training
Dr Taehee graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Otago in New Zealand in 2004. He went on to complete the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry (ASID) accreditation programme in Melbourne in 2009, an experience that sparked a lasting love of Victoria and ultimately brought him to the region.
Committed to lifelong learning, Dr Taehee is currently undertaking part-time study and research at Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany, working towards a Master of Oral Implantology. His thesis focuses on dental implants, continuing a body of professional development that already exceeds 2,000 hours in implantology alone over the first decade of his career.
Experience & Special Interests
After settling in Gippsland in 2009, Dr Taehee built four dental practices from the ground up, growing a team of more than 30 people. He was the first dentist to introduce 3D CBCT scan technology and implant surgery to South Gippsland, bringing advanced dental technology to a region that had never had access to it before.
His clinical interests centre on dental implants and CAD/CAM computer-generated restorations. He works alongside a team of dental prosthetists and technicians to deliver modern dental care with a focus on quality and value for patients.
Professional Affiliations
Dr Taehee is a member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA), the ADA Victorian Branch, the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry (ASID), and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). He is also a Fellow of the International College of Continuing Dental Education (FICCDE).
